ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ruth and I love crafting. Everything from card making and scrapbooking, to sewing and baking cakes. I'm a Stampin' Up! demonstrator based in West Yorkshire in the UK and want to inspire you to get crafty yourself. 

I'm Ruth Gets Crafty - Card Making To Calm The Mind for a reason. I truly believe that card making and crafts can help restore us in a busy world juggling far too many things. You need to take time out for you and what better way to do this than to get together with others and make something to send to others to brighten their day. 

When life is busy, and when isn't in these days, I like to make even 15 minutes for myself to work on a project and take some time out of my day to spend on me. I hate the expression 'Selfish Crafting' because it's never selfish to give yourself a little bit of care and attention and do something you love.
