Bee My Valentine Shaker Card

I've had the Bee My Valntine Set with the Bee Builder Punch for well over a year, and I love that it's still available. I like to get it out at every available opportunity - I mean who can resist!

Here's how you make this cute shaker card:

Supplies

  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock 21 x 14.8cm folded in half at 10.5cm
  • Two pieces of Basic White Cardstock 10 x 14.3cm
  • Scraps of Daffodil Delight and White card
  • Acetate 9.5 x 11cm
  • Black Ink; Strawberry Slush and Fresh Freesia Ink Pads
  • Hexagon Die
  • Double Sided Tape; Foam Strips and Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Sequins
  • Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and Bee Builder Punch

Method

  1. Die Cut a hexagon from the middle of one of your white pieces of card and stamp the dotted trail and the sentiment as shown
  2. Stamp and punch out the bee from yellow card and the wings from white card and glue together
  3. On the other piece of white card stamp flowers in Fresh Freesia and Pretty In Pink
  4. Adhere the acetate to the back of the hexagon aperture and carefuly place foam strips around the edge and the top and bottom
  5. Place some sequins in the middle of the other piece of white card.
  6. Remove the backing from the foam strips and carefully place on top of the other piece of white card to trap the sequins. Add glue to the back and attach to the front of your Daffodil Delight card base
  7. Add the bee on top with foam pads.
  8. Give it a good shake!
Keep crafting!
